The EXP is quiet and rides so much better than the KO2'S or the ST Maxx. The sidewall is really stout for a two ply tire and is plenty for my type of use. I was surprised at how much better my truck performed when dropping 6lbs of rotational mass from each wheel.
The Dick Cepek EXP has a tread design that's close to the ST Maxx and the overall performance is very similar but without the weight penalty. If I did hard core off-road trails they would have stayed on my truck.
